The American Heart Association Family & Friends CPR course is for people who want to learn CPR but do not need a course completion card in CPR for their job. This course is ideal for schools and students, new parents, grandparents, babysitters and others interested in learning how to save a life. Skills are taught in a dynamic group environment by using the AHA’s research-proven practice-while-watching technique, which provides students with the most hands-on CPR practice time possible.

This American Heart Association Family & Friends instructor lead course teaches lay-rescuer skills in CPR; AED use; and relief of choking in children and infants. The course uses the research-proven practice-while-watching format, and is taught by American Heart Association instructors. This course is ideal for new families or parents concerned about child safety. The course includes a course manual and can be scheduled days, evenings or weekends. this course runs approximately 1 hour. This American Heart Association Hands Only CPR Program is an instructor/facilitator lead course that teaches lay-rescuers skills in activating the emergency response system and performing hands only CPR. This program is ideal for large groups that wish to increase community awareness in the importance of bystander CPR . The program can be scheduled days or weekends. The program runs approximately 10 Minutes per person. These programs are non credentialed -- no course card will be awarded upon completion.
